“Jazz City”

We lived in a two story house that had a small back porch, I painted this at the beginning of the new year there, the slide is a bit dark.
I painted every day at the same time, so the sunlight and shadows came out right. I had just noticed the wires all around our neighborhood, and like how they tie the painting together. This is the first painting I sent back for the KCAI Alumni Auction, 2007, Johnny Kang bought it.
